Thesis Thunder and Joomla! Jazz

While cruising for content, I came up on a really dynamic Blog, that had it’s fair share of comments. You can tell when they have it going on when they have 30 to 50 comments on a post. What caught my eye, was a post on Thesis that had hundreds of comments. All of the posts were pretty consistent in the numbers of comments, but this one, this one was different. It really stood out. So I’m going to roll the dice and hope my readers will responded in similar fashion. Now, I’m not expecting hundreds of comments, but I am hoping for a pretty good pop in traffic.
I have a series of Blogging lessons for the new Blogger, that I wrote about earlier this week, that have failed to gain traction. I took a chance on “The Sunday Morning Post” and wow, this section just took off. It is by far and away the most popular section of the Blog. Of course, I’m not that surprised, in that writing about popular people will always be popular.
Here’s hoping for the best. Oh, try to keep in mind that this is a Blog for the beginner! If you are intent on climbing under the hood, then check out Blogging Extreme, I’ve got a new post on adding widget footers for Thesis Themes. This is a departure from the norm, as I am usually focused on StudioPress. However, I am getting e-mail with concerns about Thesis and Joomla. So I’m trying to expand a bit.
Dealing with a subject like Thesis or Joomla is extremely difficult in a micro Blog. So,…… I’m going to take a run at a series of posts. Here is an outline of what I have in mind.
- Thesis for Bullet Heads
- Joomla for Bullet Heads
- Pros and Cons of Thesis
- Pros and Cons of Joomla
- Thesis Links
- Joomla Links
