Grizzly Bears Rule!

Every now and then I get frustrated with all the SEO “crap” and I start at the very beginning, to try to mine some sort of a nugget from the gold mine of sources that are available on the internet and the countless bookmarks that I have piled-up inside my browser, trying desperately to find the “key” that I have somehow overlooked.

I have tried until I am about blind from trolling, and the decisions on sources are daunting. I try and work with all sorts of options and nothing really stands out. I get all sorts of people with all sorts of rankings for all sorts of keywords and nothing really makes any sense. After giving up I just type “make money online” into Google and sit back and let my brain breath. As I look over the results for the “king of keywords” images of Internet marketing gurus permeate my imagination. Names such as Brad Callen, Yaro Starak, Brian Clark. Instead what I come up with is the same thing that I have always come up with and that is …………. “The Griz

I thought I would give this guy a plug, after all he has held down this particular keyword for at least the past year. What I find so fascinating is the fact that I’m not really sure that the grizz is really representative of what you might call an Internet magnate, but he’s kinda fun and he makes a lot of sense. Most interesting is the fact that his main blog (I think he actually has two) is on the “blogger” system. If you follow this blog you know that the blog marketing kings use their own platforms on their own servers. I think that is the reason for the second blog, I think he is in the process of making some changes for the better. He is also making changes in his personal life, leaving his kingdom in Canada and moving south to assist the cubs in school and such.

So here’s wishing the Griz all the luck with his new diggs and continued success in ruling the Internet with “make money online“  ………. when you think about it,  it really is pretty amazing!

Make Money Blogging …… Next Year

As blogging continues to evolve, it will take all the skill you can muster to stay on top. I was reading a post by Yaro Starak this week in which he points out that “Here’s the truth – technology is a bitch.” I agree, I’ve been whipped by tech like a red-headed step child myself this year.

However it is important to note the true goal of blogging for money that will never change is ……. drive traffic to your blog and convert to sales.

You have to stay on top of tech to be sure, but if you can just focus on providing good content, updated regularly and can wrangle traffic while building a list and have a good product or two to convert, you should be able to make a go of it (make money blogging) while being beat to death by the technical issues.

Of that which is mentioned above, the challenge is not really coming up with content or building a list or finding an affiliate product to sell. The real challenge is building and maintaining traffic. Enter “Keywords”

You pretty much have to stay behind this one all the time, constantly on the hunt for the most profitable and powerful keywords. Enter “Brad Callen”.

This blog is pretty much aimed at the beginner, so I tend to repeat things often so that you will catch on to what is really most important. For those that get bored quick or catch on quick, you can cruise on over to the companion site for Bloggers Market.com. That would be “Blogging Extreme.com”. Whose <h1> keyword phrase is “The Location For Learning Extreme Blogging“. You will see it at the top of the website in the “Title Bar” and you edit it in WordPress with the “All In One SEO” plug-in“. The <h1>
keyword is perhaps the most “Onsite” important keyword you can come up with. Do your homework, find something you can live with and hit it hard. If it doesn’t work, start over and try again. Just remember, never give up or settle for the status quo. Keyword research is too important !
