Whats Wrong. With Dah Postt ?

After you are through being torched by the tech while building your blog,  you will have the challenge of building a following with your Blog.  While having a functioning and good-looking site is important,  you will have to make sure that your chosen subject is explained clearly with good English.  Spelling has to be right on, and good punctuation helps.  We all know what good spelling is all about, and most of us have a spelling editor with our Word Processors or with our Blogging software.  But what is good punctuation all about?

Here at  “The Bloggers Market Group“  I actually have an editor that comes behind me to clean up my messes.  If you have no such advantage, where do you start ?  Well……..

Punctuation is defined as:  “The act or art of punctuating or pointing a writing or discourse; the art or mode of dividing literary composition into sentences, and members of a sentence, by means of points, so as to elucidate the author’s meaning.”

That came from the 1913 Webster.  I guess that’s the King’s English !  My point is this, while we all have spell check,  we need to make sure we are making sense to our audience.  I never really appreciated this until I started Blogging. To this end, I’m going to point you to some resources for new writers.

First, take this test, if you can’t get a 100, it’s back to school for you. Me …….. I’m headed to summer school for sure, got a 55 !

Second, if you failed that test, enter summer school here. Good Luck, you’re going to need it !

Who In The World Is James Richmond ?

The InfoPreneur.net

UPDATE: SUNDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2010: James Richmond was compelled to turn over daily management of “The InfoPreneur.net to Brandon Yeager due to illness on Monday May 31, 2010. What follows is his last post, titled: “The Hardest Post In The World” (followed by my original post) to his loyal readers and good friends:

Infopreneurs,

7 months ago I started out to help people, this site is designed to show that anyone, regardless of background can achieve anything they want. I’ve made some real friendships through this site and have dedicated my time to helping others.

The community on our site is simply amazing, well over 11,000 comments from some truly amazing people, which is why this post is so difficult for me to write.

A few weeks ago I was diagnosed with a serious condition, something that needs my absolute full attention to beat which is why this will be my last post for theinfopreneur.net.

Important

The site is continuing. Brandon Yeager will be taking over the site, with help from the T.I.P Team. But for me, this is the last post I will be writing. A small circle of people know this news has been coming for a few days now, but I’ve been waiting to go public with the announcement till now.

Some of you would have been wondering what the hell was going on recently as I haven’t been posting everyday as usual, and that’s simply down to my medication and visits to the specialist. I’ve got one hell of a fight in front of me, and stepping down to let Brandon take the site even further forward is the right thing to do for you the readers and me personally.

I’ve thought about every single circumstance to actually maintain the site myself, but it’s impossible and I feel Brandon is absolutely the right guy to take it on.

Before I make this final post into an oscar winning speech I just want to leave you with one thought that optimizes hard work and the right solution for having success (in life or in business).

I’ve accepted that I’m ill, I’ve accepted that it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better, I’ve also accepted the countless combinations of medication I have to take 5 times a day.

I’ve NOT accepted it will beat me, I’ve NOT accepted this will rule my life and I’ve NOT accepted defeat.

Remember how I have lived my life so far;

”You’re Already Dead, Anything You Do Is A Bonus”

Brandon wanted to share with you a few thoughts (see the two videos below), please support him, and continue to support the site that you have all helped build.

James

What follows is the first edition of “The Sunday Morning Post” for January 24, 2010:

In my E-Book as well as my beginning lessons on blogging, I make reference to the fact that if you are reading my works “you have caught a huge break”. By that I mean, of all the websites and blogs that I visit, I just don’t see many of them providing the direct information necessary for you to formulate, design and begin work building a successful blog. Most of the information is fragmented at best, usually demanding huge amounts of time to digest! I actually go from point A to Z as quickly and as straight forward as possible, saving you huge amounts of time. That is what is called a “huge break” in this niche!

Well, what goes around comes around, and I myself have just caught a huge break ……… I am now going to pass that break on to you. That break has a name …… James Richmond and he has a terrific blog named The InfoPreneur.net. Please do yourself a huge favor and read, do not skim this blog. I usually will post references to articles of anyone’s work that I spotlight. However, there are just too many great works on his site to list. Don’t forget to RSS the feed; he has a great opt-in entitled “Seven Days To Better Traffic,” and last but not least follow James Tweets on Twitter.

If you observe this person carefully, by following his blog and tweets you will begin to see things that can’t really be taught by anyone. James Richmond truly gets it!

I can teach you how to do things on a technical level, and believe me that is at least half the battle. But only half, the other half ……. the social part if you will, the making a difference in people’s lives part …….. well it just takes too much time to explain, and at the end of the day you’re probably not going to understand anyone’s explanation because you have to develop this by blogging for a while. These things you have to observe.

It can be a challenge to observe other bloggers, after all most of the gears to the social mechanism to anyone’s blog are often hidden behind closed doors! When exposed, you only get to see what that particular blogger wants you to see. Leaving you guessing and treading the mill of experience until you learn on your own.

That’s the beauty of James Richmond, he is totally transparent. All you have to do is observe, read and learn. This is huge!!!

I don’t really know James Richmond that well, after all his blog is just three months old. However, if time allows, trust me, The InfoPreneur.net will be one of the hottest Blogs for Bloggers.

There you have it ….. another huge break presented to you by The Bloggers Market Group! Now grab it and growl and go see James. Be yourself and make a difference!
