I, like most, was concerned this past week at the news that renown physicist Stephen Hawking was taken to the hospital suffering from a chest infection. I thought that I might pass by his website to catch up on updates and stop off at his “myspace” page to read the “get well” messages. Along the way I was rudely interrupted by well-wishers who couldn’t resist the opportunity to plug their websites. Black Hat Marketing at it’s worst.

I’ve seen those who swear by Black Hat Marketing, as the only way to “overtake” or “outwit” those who pay the price to establish a legitimate presence on the web. Man what a way to make a buck ! As one marketer remarked, “it really shows one’s lack of in-site”. If you are truly interested in Internet Marketing through you Blog, at least have the wit to commit yourself to that goal. Hey ……… it’s going to take time and work to get it to where you want it, however, fortunately for you,  most are not willing to make that leap of faith. When it comes to Black Hat count me out.
