Oh No … Another Hopper!

I always somehow wind-up missing out on all the fun or the party or what-have-you. This go-round it was Adrienne Smith’s birthday bash” on August 1st. While she and the who’s who of Blogging were partying their Plug-ins off, I was hiding under the covers praying that the door-bell would not ring as I was sick as a Blogger could get.

Too many hours at the keyboard had taken its toll and I was about ready to call it a 30 hour day when I foolishly decided to change my Opt-in. I had been meaning to change it as I only like to run my opt-ins for a month at a time. Seeing as how it was the first of the month, I wanted to put this next opt-in behind me ……… BAD IDEA!!! Visions of JV Giveaways dancing in my mind……..

Building One’s List Carefully

At this point in development I’m committed to providing my own materials or selected materials that I know will provide value to my readers. I’ve got a pretty good list going and it was built correctly by eliminating all of the, what I call curious onlookers. My list is extremely focused as I only want the minimum amount of opt-ins for the maximum amount of customers. I’m not one to build a list of 100,000 just to wind-up black-listed by the powers that be for being considered a spammer because of the number of E-Mails and follow-ups I would have to mail to a list like that to support an offer which would attract all sorts of unwarranted attention.

One More Item For The Monthly To Do List

So …….. every month now I put together an opt-in offer that is totally focused on my niche. My problem this go round is that I’m still struggling a bit with the problems of the re-build with Bloggers Market earlier this year and got caught in the gears of the machine while sick. Hence why I have now (as of the date of this posting) caught-up with my opt-in offers by placing a six month supply of opt-ins in my “Opt-In Hopper”. Yes, there’s that hopper thingie again.

A Six Month Supply Should Do It

By placing a six month supply of opt-ins and changing them every two weeks to a month, you will assure yourself of quality opt-ins and a growing list. I can’t think of anything more annoying than a pop-up opt-in than to have stale content offered to you over and over again.

PLR Memberships Are The Way To Go In The Beginning

You can find a number of PLR’s materials that you can use starting out to provide you with quality content so that you don’t offer anything that might be considered questionable due to your lack of experience and provide you with more grief than opt-ins. You might also look into JV Giveaways if you are just starting your list. And you can opt-in to receive a great little guide, free of charge, that I have this month on the subject.

Here’s The Really Important Stuff

Just keep this in mind; building your list is of paramount importance to the growth of your business and Online income. Keep a fresh supply of materials for your readers to pick-up and you will be well on your way to a profitable Online business.

Oh and one last word of advice this week; if you don’t have “Pop-up Domination” get it here at this link. And a good auto-resoponder would help also. I think we all know that AWeber is the way to go.

Providing The Incentive To Your Market – Lesson 32

In the course of focusing in on your marketing plans. Don’t forget that once you have a killer product and landing page with all the bells and whistles, no one will really come unless you provide the “Bread Crumbs”.

The are several ways in which to bring your market to you. For this post we will be looking at the mailing list as

Five Reasons For Building Your Mailing List

Five Reasons To Start Your Mailing List

To end this weeks posts on building a mailing list I thought I would give you five good reasons why you need to start today.

  • Time: Time is money, we all know this. You need to take advantage of all the automation opportunities available to you such as social bookmarking and list building with an auto-responder. While you sleep, you business needs to be working for you. A good auto-responder used correctly can do just that.
  • Interaction: Blogging is about building relationships and building your e-mail list and corresponding with your contacts can build those relationships quicker. It’s also a great way for you to gain their trust immediately.
  • Cost: A good list building campaign can not only build a great following, it can also bring you income, by e-mailing your contacts about upcoming projects that you are involved with. And you don’t have to spend a great deal of your resources in marketing and advertising. Talk about cost affective.
  • Stability: While you can’t expect to earn a living right away with a mailing list, it has been proven by others that once established, your mailing list will provide you with not only an income but repeat customers.
  • Social Power: A good mailing list is like using Twitter, short and sweet. You can use your mailing campaign to develop your affiliate marketing products, do market research and test product creations.
