You Might As Well Sit Back And Enjoy Yourself

Easy Chair

I was reading a couple of posts from some of the better known Internet Marketers who like to Blog. I was actually thinking to myself that it seems that Internet Market Bloggers fall into two categories: That of Multi-Trillionaire or Stone Cold Brokenaire.

Money aside; I was noting, that to be able to provide themselves with a simple living by Blogging, most of these Bloggers worked for two or three years with the stars of the art who having put in six to eight years were finally making good bread.

One thing that I have come to learn after trolling through the Egyptian Blogging Archives is that most of these Power Bloggers love what they do, they would do it for nothing and the money followed their continued efforts.

Most all mentioned that until you can develop a body of work with the aging process of longevity, you’re not going to make any real money to speak of. I’m afraid that “Rob Benwell” failed to mention that in his landing page for “Blogging To The Bank”.

Almost from the start, I was making money online, but I had great computer skills to take advantage of. But I really, really wanted to Blog! I started down this road 20 months ago now and I’ve seen 12 spiders a day grow to 2000 a day “EVERY DAY”. My readership has been slower to grow of course but I have quite a “Blog Roll” now. My message is spreading. So slowly but surely in other year or two ………. hello ………. just like the Pro Bloggers, I’ll be making my way towards a prosperous future.

You would be rich in common sense and skill if you and all those who desire to pursue this wonderful new medium to provide for the accommodation of a similar schedule.

Unfortunately there are few that do!

The Difficulty Of Writing For The Newbie

Blogging Platforms

There are only so many ways to say it. As a medium, Blogging is really pretty straight forward. As I pursue my daily research for the newbie, I continue to find the same things in an endless variety of colors.

I have found yet another two Blogging platforms or services for the would be cyber-writer. As I started down the road of yet another review of another Blogging service, I finally gave it up. I’m only doing this for another month anyway.

I guess I could go on for at least another couple of years, but I really don’t see the point. I mean how many ways can you provide a writing platform for a Blogger? I guess that’s not going to stop Internet Marketers from trying.

My loss of attrition is due to the fact that when I go to do a review on these services, it seems that they have an attractive gateway and that about does it. To get the goodie you have to sign-up and crawl inside the gears of the machine.

It seems that now with so many options, services are saying that if you want to know, sign-up and give us a try. I’m thinking that one service is pretty much like the next one.

It is truly amazing to see the expansion of the Internet services that are offered to the market. They can’t all be on top. It looks like they would want to do something different with their time! Oh well, what do I know?

Of course, it’s like a bank keeping you in debt and keeping them profitable. Bad analogy I know. However, I have a simple answer to the challenge of all this noise aimed at the new Blogger. Just learn how to install and use WordPress and get on with your life.

Both United Parcel Service And Your RSS Feed Have Deadlines

UPS Truck

I remember when growing up that U.P.S. had a fierce deadline. Wherever I worked when I was growing up it always seemed like I was in charge of the U.P.S. shipments. I was always fighting the deadline. They don’t wait. That’s not what they do. They come, they drop off, they pick-up, they go. What a job to have; driver for U.P.S., I guess that is why they get paid so well.

Your RSS Feed has a similar deadline. It won’t wait either. Just like UPS, Google ain’t going to wait.

With the advent of Caffeine, which I wrote about earlier this year, my posts are getting indexed by time of post. Here’s a heads-up: Without an RSS time stamp, you’re at the mercy of the bots. When you set your RSS Feed to publish at say ……… 7.00 P.M. Google comes looking for it at that time. How else does Google know when to publish “within the last 10 minutes”. Trust me; Google ain’t waiting around the back door of your Blog just for your daily post.

When you set your RSS timer, Google crawls that part of your site or site-map and logs it in. Then every day at 7.00 P.M. Google comes around for the goodies.

Google will not explain this to you; I have just learned this by “EXPERIENCE“. It’s the name of the game in Blogging and Internet Marketing.
