WordPress TV ! Now We’re Talking

If you follow this blog, you know that I’m not real big on the WordPress Codex which are the guidelines for the operation of your WordPress Blog. After continually doing battle with the endless forums and dead links, I have come to rely on other Blogs beyond WordPress to find the answers to my Blogging problems. While sorting through material for Blogging Extreme.com, I thought I would take a look at WordPress TV. Now here is something from WordPress that holds promise for the beginner.

While I’m not a fan of video training, ( it’s really in it’s Internet infancy and not a lot of people understand how to design video ) it would appear that it is here to stay. Organized much better than the codex the quality of build and the video is pretty good. The beginner should find a wealth of applicable information here. Do yourself a favor and skip the codex and go straight to WordPress TV.

Bring On The Ice Age … Kinda … Sorta … Well, Not Really !

I’m writing this one for prosperity ……. brrrr. I’m located in the deep south in the great state of Georgia, and I’m just not use to this kind of cold ( it’s 18 degrees as I write this ). But I understand that Georgia is not the only state that is in a deep freeze. Along with my ISP, it seems that the entire Nation is in a deep freeze.

While trying to bang out my featured post for the coming weekend for Bloggers Market.com and Blogging Extreme.com, I overheard the T.V. National News stating that with the Nations Deep Freeze come reports that online spending is surging due to the fact that people are online instead of outside.

I don’t usually pay too much attention to the news on T.V. or the papers for that matter. I’ve had enough of the “if it bleeds it leads” status quo. However, it did get me to thinking about the last several weeks of my blogs activity. Traffic on all my sites is up a ton, period. And here I was thinking all my hard work was paying off at last, when really it was the Christmas Season and the cold weather.

I’ll have to admit that I was too busy to recognize the trend. Spotting trends is always a risky business. If I were any good at it I would be in the stock market instead of online. However, some are easier to spot then others. Had I been prepared I could have made a nice profit at the end of the year and a great start to the coming year.

In this life you live and profit by your hard work and wits. Try to consider the trends and before long you will have a feel for the opportunities.

Now where’s the Hot Chocolate ?

Happy New Year !

I thought I would take this opportunity to kick off the New Year with an introduction of myself and what it is that I do around here at Bloggers Market.com. I’m Jeffrey Morgan your “hopefully” helpful host. I’ve been knocking around computers since 1982 (my first computer was a Victor 9000, Google that will ya!)

Bloggers Market.com is a blog to assist you in the start and development of your own blog. I manage a number of other blogs to help you with the more demanding aspects of blogging. Blogging Extreme.com for the pro bloggers, Internet Money Systems.com for the marketing end of things and SEO Traffic Extreme.com for the ……. well ……. traffic.

I thought it would be better to have separate blogs address these areas because I personally don’t care to spend my time reading about traffic techniques unless I am doing traffic stuff. Same goes for marketing or whatever else have you. I don’t really care to have to try to find what I am looking for ……….. say traffic on a pro bloggers site by trying to find just the right tag. If I need traffic ideas I want to go to a traffic site ……. better yet a pro bloggers site about traffic. Hence the different blogs.

Here at Bloggers Market.com, I take a year to go through all the relevant material you will need to start and hopefully profit from your own blog. Then at the beginning of the year, I start that process over again. If you are new to blogging or just starting out this is the place you need to be. If you have several years under your belt, you need to move over to Blogging Extreme.com. For those of you that are new, stay away from Blogging Extreme.com for now ……………. trying to read through the material …… well ……… it’s enough to make your hair hurt.

For those who do better with E-Books or desire a quick start you can pick-up my latest E-Book or Manual entitled Blogging 2010 (available January 15), it sells for $4.95, I plan on releasing a series of these manuals for those that are on a strict budget.
