Mike Cliffe-Jones

Last week’s “The Sunday Morning Post” was about a fine gentleman, James Richmond. He was really the inspiration for this area of Bloggers Market. However I wish I had started off with Mike CJ. As this site’s focus is for the beginning blogger who has no experience at all, Mike is the perfect role model for the beginner. His communication is the way I like it: direct, clear and to the point.

While looking over my Twitter Followers, I came up on Mike. I don’t know him that well. He hit my radar when he released his latest book with Nathan Hangen entitled “Beyond Blogging”. You might want to check out the Beyond Blogging Sales Page link here.

Mike manages two websites and one blog. I believe his home is where his heart is, and I think I have a pretty good idea where that is: Mike’s Life. Feel free to visit at Mikes Life.org. His other two sites are centered on his love of Scuba-Diving, titled “Gordonisimo” and the other on his home island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, which was his first website and is the full time responsibility of his wife Julie.

As I knocked around his blog, I was struck with the fact that I have this new friend who lives so far away from me, that I have never met nor would have ever met if it were not for the Internet. Lanzarote with it’s population of approximately 130,000 residents and 200 plus volcanic peaks along with the Timanfaya National Park seems like the idealistic place to live. While it’s as close to Casablanca and Rick Blaine as you can possibly get, it is a fair piece from the Blue Ridge Mountains where I live.

He has a super section for beginners that you can find here. And he has an E-Book for beginners that highlights his style of being clear and concise. You can opt-in at this link here. He has a complete course for the beginner titled “The Beginner’s Guide To Blogging“. This course comes with 60 separate lessons, which is the best way. If offered to you all at once, it has been my experience that most people just “skim and forget” then move on to something else. So Mike goes the extra mile in an effort to keep you engaged.

While Mike speaks two languages, it’s really not that hard to understand him; and getting to know Mike can’t be all that hard, considering the following Tweet he sent out on Friday Morning about 10:30A.M:
