Internet Marketing – Lesson 12

As I have written and you have read over the past couple of weeks, artwork is one of the more challenging parts to Internet Marketing. Unfortunately after you have your designs in place, you must begin anew with artwork for your Affiliates.

While you may want to keep continuity with your ad campaign, you will have to change it up a bit to maintain interest in your products and to show a bit of professionalism. Not to mention that your affiliate artwork will come in all types of sizes and shapes. The more that you design the more options your Affiliates will have to display your products.

You will want to maintain all of your artwork with codes on your site. You can see examples of that here at Bloggers under the category of “Affiliates”. You will see a pretty good selection of artwork sizes along with the code already written. You will have to do the coding yourself. Google will really punish these Affiliate links if they are not written properly, so go ahead and code to best SEO practices and provide the code for your Affiliates to simply copy and paste.

The main idea here is to make sure that everything is done with best practices, while at the same time making it as easy as possible for your Affiliates to work with you.

And speaking of making it easy for your Affiliates to work with you, I’m going to go ahead here and mention Affiliate Payouts as this is one of the most critical parts of selling Affiliates on listing your products on their site. You have to have a good Shopping Cart that you can depend on, that will responsibly handle your payouts and refunds for you. E-Junkie and JVZoo are a couple of choices that you may want to take a look at. There are others of course, so do your due diligence here.

  2. Hi again Jeff,

First of all, I don’t see any comments yet so it’s safe to say that I am the first one to do so with Lesson 12 (hoping that I am the first to comment). Well, as you can see, I had skipped your other Lessons again. I am just hand-picking what lessons to read and that led me here on Lesson 12. I am pretty much sure that artworks should never be stagnant. I mean, its common sense (feeling like an expert well in fact I’m not), artworks should always be new and fresh so that Affiliates will be more interested in advertising your site. As what you’ve said, the more designs, the more options for Affiliates to choose what products to be displayed. On the other hand, thank you for giving some suggested sites for Affiliate Payouts. I will look at these site you’ve mention. Cheers!

      Hi Farrell,

After a week, yes, it looks like you are the first one here.

I went through a “DMCA” scrape with a website in Europe about a year ago, so I shut-down all comments to this site. For the past couple of months I have started to accept comments here again.

One of the employees of the site in Europe came over to Bloggers Market to make comments, however they used their employers URL, and the employer took exception to this as their URL had been used without their permission. Remember the better the back-link the better the rank in Google, and seeing as how I’m not in their type of Business, they had my host take this site offline. Opps!

I think Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook had it right, by saying that you can never have your site go offline.

Thanks for coming by today Farrell, I’ll see you soon!

    HI Jeffrey

I just loved reading your articles. :D

The best thing which I really like about your articles is, you covers each and every thing in your articles which makes your article more helpful.

I have seen people love to read those articles more which are easy to understand and can help a lot. And you always write such kind of articles.

I would also like to suggest you one thing.

You should try to keep your paragraphs short so that people can’t scare before reading that paragraphs.

Short and cute paragraphs increase interest of the reader to read the complete article.

I hope you wouldn’t mind my suggestion. :D

Either way, Thanks for this wonderful article. :D
