This week I have been doing a series on the new search engine or search index from Google known as Google Caffeine. This morning I have been tracking yesterday’s post titled: “Google Caffeine Results” and this time I have had no luck. Call it a Google Caffeine Reality Check. Just the type thing Google was aiming for I’m sure.
As long as I fail to index; Google fails to index properly. This gets back to my comments a day or two ago about Google trying to rule the world instead of indexing what is relevant to a functioning search engine. So when the spiders crawl the world, they fail to crawl all of it like Google desires.
Results have been encouraging so far, but it will take time to see if Caffeine will have the desired effect of even results for everyone. How one determines whether or not Caffeine offers them more traffic over that long run is anyones guess. Wherever the trail leads it is sure to be better than what we have had to deal with so far. Don’t get me wrong here, Google is the ticket, looks like the only ticket. I guess that Yahoo can hold its own, however Bing is a joke, I have a hard time finding my own Blog at Bing.
Tomorrow, I’ll be looking at what makes Google Caffeine tick. It is said that the focus of the new more relevant search results are keyword driven, not just keywords, but strings of keywords. If you check the Meta Tags below, you will see that I have provided both. I’ll report on the results tomorrow.
