Don’t Surf Blogs As An Occupation

Surfing The Web

As I engage in more social interaction with others, I am falling victim to the fantastic content that Blogs, or rather the individuals that run the Blogs, provide. While social interaction is important, you will have to be careful with the time that you spend doing it. Make sure that you set aside a time in your day to visit, usually the beginning is a really good time. You are usually fresh, and the social interaction is important. Try to keep it to an hour. Watch your time! Remember that Blogging is a business and you need to pay attention to what you are doing with your own Blog.

We all want to socialize and be helpful to people, but know when to leave the party. Make no mistake about it: These Blogs that you visit will have a tremendous impact on who you become as a Blogger.  It’s like those that are on your baseball, football, basketball, or hockey team: you all influence one another and together you provide the Blogosphere with its rich content for all to enjoy.

Sunday’s are not really good marketing days. Although it might be a good day to go around visiting, commenting, and catching-up on your reading. During the week, during your Blogging work, you will have need to visit someones Blog or a new Blog. Don’t stop! Bookmark and come back later. Don’t get sidetracked. Focus on these sites later and you will have a greater impact on your efforts to network.

While it’s a fine line between your market and your community, it is a very well-defined line!  Remember that the customer always comes first!  Do your partying later!
