Please remember that you will also have to speak English well. I once knew a cleaver Mexican who stated that he watched American T.V. to learn how to speak English and all without an accent!
Remember Ali, English is not necessarily an American thing. When the World does business, the world does business in English.

Agree. its really necessary to have good English skills for internet marketing, specially blogging. my understanding skills are better than expressing. I’m thinking to taking English classes to improve.

Nice post Jeffrey. my writing skill are the worst. but still i keep try to write a little bit to improve my skills a little bit. i hope one day i will be better in writing.

by the way my first language is not english. i think this is the also one problem for me to express my thoughts freely.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for dropping by! I’m actually about half-way through writing the next post about “writing your own ticket” but ran into a spot of trouble with my foot. I’ll be going into marketing your goods and services off-site.

As for Blogging in general, I’m in the same boat as you are. I really want to Blog, but I’m not so sure how long I can hang on. While I make my living online, it is with my computer skills and building Websites not with Blogging. So any writing or advice I give has to be closely measured.

I started to Blog in March of 2009 and have yet to see any real results. The partners are becoming restless while I have an additional 5 Websites that are waiting for my attention. Not to mention the 18 Blogs!

I love the last line. I think I am literally writing my own ticket – one post at a time!
I agree that blogging is more like slogging for the first year, in fact its probably the HARDEST way to make money online. I get ten times back what I invest into niche site marketing as I do my blog anyway.

Why am I blogging again?!?!

Excellent post Jeffrey – and a good reminder that things don’t happen as quickly as you would like to imagine.

All we have is our content, so as you said – just write it and they will come.
OK they won’t, but keep telling yourself they will – it’s all we have at this early stage
