Blog Flip Camp

I can’t help myself! Yesterday I did a post on a auto-blog Internet Marketing program that was at best suspect. Today I continue the fun with Blog Flipping extraordinaire John Yeo, known to his family and close friends as Jhong Ren.

John has a new Blog Flipping coaching program title “BlogFlipCamp” He is only taking students for a day or two so you better climb on board or his train is going to pull on out of the station. Oh …….. cost of a ticket is only $1500.00, jumping to $2000.00 soon. He only has 20 tickets of which 14 are left. So ……. let’s see if we do the math we have John earning about $9000.00 so far, which is good, because what I see of his Blogs online that he personally sells don’t go for any more than about $50.00 or so these days. Total take for the year is $1698.00 for 4 months work or about $424.00 a month or ……… well you get my point. Hardly enough to pay the bills.

Ah hell, I’m not trying to kick anyones tires, I said that yesterday, I’m Just trying to expose some of the more flaky programs that I see out there that are peddled as Internet Marketing Solutions. $1500.00 to $2000.00 ……… for what? So that he can show you how to sell and I quote; “simple blogs like the ones below which could be created in less than 2 hours each”. Man, come on John ……… the writing for the content takes longer than that!

Sorry John, it takes me about 70 to 85 hours for me to create a totally unique Blog that I can’t sell for any more than $400.00 …….. at best. That’s $4.70 an hour. Not counting the cost of the premium template, the cost of the domain name and the cost of listing the site for sale. Oh, I almost forgot, a 5% “Success Fee you have to pay when someone actually buys your site. Not what I had in mind when I got into Blogging! Here is my latest creation for you to take a look at that took me 70 hours to build …….. so far: Gated Horse.com. As you can see it has problems with the tower ads in I.E. that will take me a couple more hours to deal with and I have a nasty snag with FeedBurner and I have lost the RSS and Comment Feeds on Top of the template and I have yet to finish my Artwork. I’ll have 85 hours in it when I finish. And what’s worse I’ll have to sell the same Blog with different names at least 3 or 4 times to make any kind of profit on my time.
