Bloggers Market Famous 1 Hr WordPress Install

Bloggers Market WordPress Install E-Book

NOW AVAILABLE!!!

I’m preparing for my pre-launch next week for my new E-Book that focuses on a hard-code install of WordPress. Let me explain.  When I started out Blogging, I thought I would do the “WordPress Famous 5 Minute Install” ……… it took seven hours. The straight forward, one-page instructions were not so straight forward; and they are still causing me nightmares on several of my Blogs to this day.

Dozens of Blogs later, I’ve determined that it really is easier to install WordPress yourself. It takes a little longer than five minutes, but I can assure you that you will have a secure and stable Blog after you follow my E-Books Instructions. When it comes to setting up a Blog with WordPress, there is a lot more to do than just install the software. As far as the WordPress Software is concerned, how long does it take to upload and extract 2.8 M.B.’s anyway? About 30 seconds!

So you don’t really need the “WordPress Famous 5 Minute Install”.  However, to make sure that you have all your bases covered, and to eliminate the possibility of any potential disasters from occurring, you need to take your time and work through each and every step carefully. This process takes about 1 hour, going from one end to the other. If you misstep and try to rush, I can assure you that you will burn a ton of time in frustration.

So if you’re new to Blogging , or just need a blueprint on how to do things the easy way, consider a purchase of this most informative product. As well as becoming an affiliate.

All of next week I will be providing daily details and glimpses of this work. I hope you will join me for what I promise will be an interesting week.

The Long Road Home

Alex Jeffreys

I was planing to take a day for building products, but I thought I would go with it while I had these thoughts in my mind.  As I started my day today, I did the usual rounds by checking in on the Blogs that I follow and my first start was over at Darren L. Carter’s Blog ( who has since dropped of the face of the earth ).  I noticed that he makes reference to Alex Jeffreys and as I had heard of the name, I decided to surf on over to Alex’s website and see what was up.

It was my first visit to Alex’s Website and I had heard that he was one of the growing stars of Internet Marketing.  I’m just a little uneasy with what I found. Let’s call it first impressions.  I sensed several more degrees than six of separation.  What I found was a Blog style website that has not been updated for several months and was never really updated often,  as I went back over the sites archives I found that he sometimes only updates once a month.  Yet he turns in hundred’s of comments on his posts ……….when he does post, I noticed that one of his more recent post had over 800 comments. I average about 10.

He’s big on building his list by giving free stuff away.  While there is no arguing that giving away stuff is cool, it’s not the holy grail of Internet Marketing.  As Seth Godin says, giving free stuff away is fun and we all like a little magic, but as an online business practice the results are diminishing with time.  While at Alex’s site, I could not help but notice that all his free material links were either broken or took you to his membership area where notice is given that the program is closed.  Yet seemingly he has a great following.

Alex has not been involved with Internet Marketing long, just a couple of years or so and he’s going guns.  But things look a little rough around the edges over at his site.  However, I’m not writing this with the intention of kicking Alex’s tires, rather I’m just noticing the stark contrast to the new marketeers coming into the market.  There are just too many to list here, but they can take your breath away as well as intimate you with their well-rounded approaches to Internet Marketing.  You throw in a dynamic personality and in a word, Zoom!

If Alex Jeffreys can pull together results with his current practices, than the new kids coming in with their aggressive styles and dynamic personalities are going to be monsters of Internet Marketing. Don’t get me wrong, this describes Alex Jeffreys; dynamic, aggressive. After all, anyone who does an Internet Marketing Video, like Alex, while at his wedding is hardcore! But come this time tomorrow, there will be a whole new class of Internet Marketeer.

As for myself, I continue to post everyday and field my 10 comments a day, building ever so slowly, only concerned with the long road ahead of me and the promise of tomorrow that hope instills in all of us.

Point Of Decision – Lesson 24

We’re almost half way through my series on Blogging for the new Blogger. After six months of Blogging you should be well on your way to …………….. a decision. It’s a big one in fact. You will come to the point where you must decide on whether you want to be a Blogger or Internet Marketeer. There is no reason why you can’t do both of course.

You will in fact find yourself at the crossroads one day, wondering; contemplating on which path to take. Here’s where things get a bit dicey I’m afraid. I’m going to pull out all the stops and this could stir-up decent in the comment’s section. Making money Online is a bit easier than Blogging. Ok, it’s a lot easier to make money Online than it is to Blog.

To all the Bloggers out there who struggle to make money Blogging, my apologizes. I understand that earning a full-time living is a real challenge for the Blogger. The problem comes with this challenge; Blogging is a full-time challenge, money is the companion to this type of pursuit. Making money Online is a full-time pursuit.

I know a lot of great Bloggers; I know a ton of great Internet Marketers. I really don’t know that many successful Bloggers who earn great money with their Blogging. I can count them on one hand.

I love Blogging! I really grove on it. However, I spend a tremendous amount of time Blogging. When I get hungry I have to stop and go to work marketing my skills. My Blogging stops. I could hire someone to provide Blogging services, but then, it wouldn’t be my Blog. For me personally I tend to shy away from Bloggers who provide their content through out-sourcing in one form or other. I visit their Blogs to read their content, not someone else’s. There are just too many killer Blogs out there to read, by the great writer themselves, to be bothered with reading “canned content”.
